Upload, Manage and Collaborate on Your Group’s Arrangements
You can build and manage an online arrangement library of your group’s compositions and arrangements, accessible only by members of your group. Edit such details as song title, arranger, status (active, retired, learning), voice parts, etc. You can sort your arrangements by any column, upload/download related files, assign members to voice parts, and more.
Assign Voice Parts
Once you have created an arrangement and edited the arrangement details to show which voice parts it has, you can assign members to voice parts for that arrangement. This information is used in the Set List Builder.
Build a Set List in Seconds
AcaSpot uses your arrangements database and the voice parts you have assigned to each member to automatically find songs you can perform with any combination of singers. Simply choose the singers that will be present and the Set List Builder will return a list of active and retired songs that you can cover parts on.
Track Recording Progress for Individual Songs
Within the CD Project Manager, you can track the recording progress of each CD track. Use the table to keep track of what has been accomplished and what is yet to be accomplished for that track. You (and your mix engineer) can even post clips for the group to listen to and provide feedback (see below).
Manage a Recording Project and Prioritze Feedback for Your Engineer
AcaSpot’s CD Project Manager can be a forum for discussion amongst your group about specific tracks. Each track has a comments/discussion section where you can add comments, view other members comments, and ”vote” on priorities. Your project manager can quickly see what is most important to the group as a whole and communicate effectively with the mix engineer.
Track Attendance and Record Rehearsal Minutes
AcaSpot’s Minutes & Attendance recorder allows you to keep track of what happened in rehearsal and who was there. The minutes can be automatically e-mailed to the group members and attendance is displayed on the home page.
Schedule Auditions and Let Auditionees Sign-up Online!
Tired of having to e-mail attachments or wait at the actual audition to get your auditionees’ contact info? Want to have an individual scheduled time slot for each auditionee? AcaSpot allows you to post audition time slots online where auditionees can schedule an appointment with you. Simply send them to www.acaspot.com/audition and tell them to click on the link for your group. You can also customize the questionnaire they fill out when signing up, cancel or modify appointments, and view a schedule of autionees with their contact info for that quick, “hey, you’re late, where are you?” phone call.
Give Anonymous Feedback to Group Members
You can send anonymous feedback to other members in your group through AcaSpot. The receiver will get an e-mail from AcaSpot admin with your message included. Only constructive criticism, please.
Pull Your Members’ Bios and Group Repertoire into an iFrame for Your Website
Your group’s public bios and repertoire lists can be pulled and embedded on your website. Each member can manage their profile through their AcaSpot account.
Connect With Other Groups Across the Nation
Find other groups to visit on your Spring Break tour to the other side of the country using AcaSpot. You can browse group profiles, view groups by distance from you, and even contact the group’s leadership through AcaSpot.
Customize Your Home Page with Moveable Widgets
Your home page has multiple widgets, including your profile, group attendance, group calendar, and more. These can be moved and situated however your little heart desires. Choose what’s most important and most useful for you.
